California here we come!

Hello everybody!
Today last part of our roadtrip, sitting in the airport of Seattle, not feeling ready to leave yet, there is so much more to discover here!
Last week we have been going from San Francisco where we have met some very friendly people (in Napa Valley) who were so nice to invite us in their home (which was nicely located in SF centre) The whole city has a feel of the 70's, lots of 'prescriptions' (medicinal weed use) and people wearing tie-dye shirts :)
the Pacific coast highway was also one of the most spectacular roads I've seen, beautiful views on the mountains and the pacific ocean, as blue as you see in the pictures!
And in Santa Barbara we went whale watching, most amazing wildlife, we saw whales coming up for air and after about half an hour even a large group of dolphins and seals. We didn't have feeling in our feet at the end (very cold wind) but completely worth it!
Next day we had surflessons from Rob from the Surfshop in Carpinteria, if you ever feel like taking a surf lesson, take it with Rob! The most positive minded person I met in California, even when falling off the board for the 20th time, still yell that you're doing awesome. But with his great lesson, able to stand up on the board, felt like an accomplishment! :)
Really sad to be leaving, but ready for my next trip! Next up is Maroc, Marrakech with my sister!
